Job Description :
We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Scientist to drive the design, development, and deployment of advanced data science and machine learning solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with leadership capabilities to solve complex business problems using data-driven insights. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, mentor data scientists, and deliver scalable AI and analytics solutions that create measurable business value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and deployment of machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI solutions to address business challenges.
- Build, validate, and optimize statistical and machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendation, and anomaly detection.
- Analyze large, structured, and unstructured datasets to generate actionable business insights.
- Design and implement end-to-end data science pipelines, from data collection and feature engineering to model deployment and monitoring.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering technical excellence and best practices.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to business and executive stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Monitor model performance and continuously improve model accuracy, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and Responsible AI principles.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science technologies.
Required Skills :
- 5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
- Strong knowledge of statistics, probability, predictive modeling, and data mining techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Matplotlib.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience deploying machine learning models using MLOps tools and practices is an advantage.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
