Lead Full Stack Engineer - React.js/Node.js

Role Overview :

As a Lead Fullstack Engineer, you will serve as the technical anchor for our core product development, bridging the gap between complex system architecture and seamless user experiences. You will operate at the intersection of high-level strategy and hands-on execution, working closely with product managers, design teams, and cross-functional engineering squads to translate business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. By driving technical excellence and mentoring junior developers, you will directly influence the robustness of our platform, ensuring that our infrastructure can support rapid growth while delivering a frictionless experience to our global user base.

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect and implement end-to-end fullstack solutions using React.js and Node.js to ensure high availability and optimal performance for our end users.
• Design and maintain complex system and database architectures that support microservices-based deployments, ensuring long-term scalability and data integrity.
• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, including the design and documentation of RESTful webservices to facilitate seamless communication between distributed systems.
• Orchestrate CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes to accelerate deployment cycles and maintain production stability.
• Drive technical excellence by conducting rigorous code reviews and establishing best practices that elevate the overall quality of the engineering output across the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate abstract business goals into technical roadmaps, ensuring alignment between engineering initiatives and organizational growth.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated mastery in building scalable web applications using TypeScript, React.js, and Node.js, with a deep understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and manage complex system architectures and database schemas that handle high-concurrency traffic in a microservices environment.
• Strong proficiency in cloud infrastructure management and the deployment of containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes within a CI/CD framework.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and mentor engineering talent to foster a culture of growth.
• A track record of working effectively in Agile environments, demonstrating the adaptability required to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid work setting in a major metro area.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills, typically supported by a degree in Computer Science or a related field, combined with 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in fullstack development.
