Senior Back-End DeveloperJob Overview

We are looking for a Senior Back-End Developer to join a product engineering team responsible for building scalable enterprise applications. This is a hands-on individual contributor role focused on backend development, system integration, and solution delivery.

Roles &

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build secure, scalable, and high-performance applications.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Work across cloud and on-premises environments.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.
• Drive CI/CD, automation, and DevOps best practices.

Backend: Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Go, REST APIs, WebSockets

Database: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB

Testing: JUnit, Mockito, JaCoCo, SonarQube

Frontend (Reference): React, TypeScript

Must-Have Skills

• 7 years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and SQL databases.
• Experience building REST APIs and backend applications.
• Knowledge of microservices, event-driven architecture, and messaging systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing, and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Go, REST APIs, and WebSockets.
• Experience with SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with JUnit, Mockito, JaCoCo, and SonarQube.
• Experience with Solace messaging.
• Experience with GitHub, Maven, and TeamCity.
• Experience working across Azure, GCP, cloud, and on-premises environments.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience in enterprise application development.
• Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of additional backend technologies.
• Experience in system modernization and API transformation initiatives.
• Experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments.
