Repro India Limited is a global publishing and content services company connecting publishers with end users across print and digital platforms. The company is expanding its technology platform to support eBooks, Print-on-Demand, Digital Warehousing, and Global Content Services.

Role Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Lead Java Developer to design and develop scalable backend applications, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor team members, and work closely with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, high-performance Java applications and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle, including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Develop and maintain Microservices-based applications.
• Build and enhance distributed backend systems.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver quality solutions.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design decisions.

Required Skills :

• 6 to 11 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Core Java, Java EE or J2EE, Object-Oriented Programming, Multithreading, Collections, Generics, and Exception Handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Strong experience in developing RESTful APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with Swagger or OpenAPI for API documentation.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and backend application development.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leading a development team, mentoring engineers, and driving technical discussions is mandatory.

Education :

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
