Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Java Backend Engineer / Lead Software Engineer for a large-scale Data Platform engineering team.

The position requires strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot Reactive (WebFlux), advanced SQL and microservices architecture.

The selected engineer will work on scalable backend systems, distributed services, SQL query optimization, metadata-driven capabilities and high-performance data processing.

Must-Have Skills

1. Core Java and backend application development.
2. Spring Boot Reactive / Spring WebFlux.
3. Project Reactor, Mono, Flux and non-blocking programming.
4. Advanced SQL, complex queries and query performance tuning.
5. Microservices architecture, design and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Java microservices.
• Implement reactive APIs and non-blocking services using Spring WebFlux.
• Optimize complex SQL queries and database performance.
• Build reliable distributed backend services.
• Work on data platform, query processing and metadata-related capabilities.
• Improve performance, concurrency, scalability and resilience.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to technical architecture.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams and drive engineering best practices.
