Job Summary :

We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer Java Backend to design and deliver scalable, high-performance backend solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Distributed Systems, Event-Driven Architectures, and PCI-compliant application development, along with proven experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Architect and build distributed, event-driven systems.
• Drive technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor developers and lead Agile delivery.
• Ensure application performance, security, scalability, and PCI compliance.

Required Skills :

• 8 - 12 years of Java backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Strong understanding of PCI Security and secure coding practices.
• Experience leading technical teams and architecture discussions.
• Knowledge of Microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka/MQ, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
