Roles & Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and enhance Java applications and services to contribute to our legacy and cloud platform.
- Triage customer product and technical issues/defects and provide timely resolution.
- Look for opportunities to provide root cause fix and stop issues from Re-occurring.
- Focus on the ‘first time right’ approach.
- Partner with fellow engineers, product managers, and other team members as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of products.
- Actively promote best Development practices
- Lead projects as necessary in individual capacity, increasing team productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.
- Participate in key architectural decisions and design considerations.
- Collaborate with global Engineering, Product and Release teams, as necessary.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide detailed RCA.
Must to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Mandatory- Java, Springboot
- Candidates should be strong with DSA, Algorithms, and Problem-solving. Along with Java J2EE core java / this is an IC role, so they should do coding also.
- 7-8 years of web-based application development experience using Java, J2EE.
- Proficient experience with relational databases.
- Good hands-on experience working with Distributed Systems, Caching, and Multi-threaded applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, a keen sense of ownership, and a detail-oriented mindset
- Effective communication & persuasion skills
- Ability to effectively manage and correctly prioritize multiple streams of work
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and project details
- Experience delivering software in Agile environment
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
- Consideration for privacy and security obligations
Secondary Skills:Hibernate preferred (advantage if aware of Microservices)
Good to have:
- Up-to-date experience with Java J2EE and related technologies
- Experience with continuous deployment
- Experience developing Microservices, RESTful services, or other SOA development experience
- Experience working with enterprise SaaS applications
- Experience Working GIT, Confluence etc.
