Job Summary :
We are seeking skilled Linux Validation Engineers with experience in validating Linux-based platforms and operating systems across Intel and AMD architectures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Linux validation, system debugging, driver validation, automation development, and silicon validation activities.
This role involves validating system functionality, identifying issues across hardware and software layers, developing test strategies, and ensuring product quality throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform Linux platform validation on Intel and AMD client/server platforms.
- Execute validation activities on Linux distributions including Yocto, Ubuntu, and Red Hat.
- Validate Chrome OS features and functionality.
- Create, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation reports.
- Perform driver, operating system, and application-level debugging.
- Analyze failures and work closely with development teams for issue resolution.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Perl to improve validation efficiency.
- Participate in pre-silicon and post-silicon validation activities.
- Conduct integration testing, system testing, and data validation across multiple projects.
- Ensure timely delivery of validation milestones with minimal supervision.
Mandatory Skills :
