We are looking for a Python Developer (PL/SQL).

Analyse existing PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers to understand business logic and dependencies.
Convert PL/SQL-based business logic into Python-based microservices using FastAPI.
Design and develop RESTful APIs ensuring functional equivalence with legacy systems.
Perform detailed impact analysis and mapping of database logic to application services.
Collaborate with architects to design target FastAPI-based architecture and deployment model.
Ensure data integrity and optimise database interactions during migration.
Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression test cases for migrated APIs.
Validate migrated services to ensure accuracy of business outcomes compared to PL/SQL systems.
Deploy APIs on cloud platforms (AWS Lambda/ECS preferred).
Follow Agile/Scrum methodology for delivery including user story estimation and sprint execution.

Exposure to GenAI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub).
Should be able to understand Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Proficiency in Python development, especially backend services.
Experience in FastAPI and REST API development.
Strong understanding of SQL and database design principles.
Experience in code conversion or legacy system modernisation projects.
Knowledge of API design standards, performance tuning, and error handling.
