MEAN Stack Developer - Node.js/AngularJS

Job Description :

We are a growing software development company focused on building innovative web and mobile applications. We are looking for a skilled MEAN Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MEAN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
• Collaborate with front-end and back-end teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for the backend services using Node.js.
• Develop responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular.
• Interact with MongoDB to manage and maintain database systems, including data modeling and querying.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of applications.
• Debugging, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications for speed and efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews, and provide and receive constructive feedback.
• Maintain and improve web applications as required.

Required Skills & Experience :

• 2 years of professional experience in software development, specifically using MEAN Stack.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js for building server-side applications.
• Proficiency in Express.js for developing backend RESTful APIs and web services.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, particularly Angular (version 2 ).
• Experience working with MongoDB, including database schema design and queries.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6 ).
• Knowledge of web security principles and best practices.
• Experience with deployment and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Heroku) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

Preferred Skills :

• Knowledge of TypeScript and experience with it in Angular.
• Familiarity with tools like Docker for containerization, and Jest or Mocha for testing.
• Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.

Education :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
