Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with 47 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with hands-on experience in building RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud-based applications. The candidate should have a strong coding mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced product development environment.

Key Responsibilities :

1.

Full Stack

Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Build responsive, reusable, and user-friendly frontend components using React.js.
• Develop secure and efficient backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following coding standards and best practices.

2.

Frontend

Development :

• Develop responsive web applications using React.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6 ), and TypeScript.
• Implement reusable UI components and optimize application performance.
• Work with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

3.

Backend

Development :

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT, OAuth, or Passport.js.
• Build scalable microservices and integrate third-party APIs.
• Implement error handling, logging, and API security best practices.

4.

Database

Development :

• Design and optimize MongoDB database schemas and collections.
• Write efficient queries and aggregation pipelines.
• Ensure database performance, scalability, and data integrity.
• Work with indexing, replication, and optimization techniques.

5. API Integration :

• Develop and consume RESTful APIs.
• Experience with GraphQL is an added advantage.
• Integrate payment gateways, notification services, and external APIs.

Performance

Optimization :

• Optimize frontend rendering and backend response times.
• Improve application performance using caching mechanisms such as Redis.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.

7. DevOps & Deployment :

• Deploy applications using Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Monitor production applications and troubleshoot issues.

8. Collaboration :

• Collaborate with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and technical discussions.
• Take ownership of features from development through production deployment.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :

• 47 years of experience in Full Stack Development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6 ) and TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, and responsive design.
• Experience with Redux, Context API, or Zustand for state management.
• Expertise in RESTful API development.
• Strong knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth).
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Technical Skills:

1. Frontend:

• React.js, JavaScript (ES6 ), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, Redux / Context API.

2. Backend:

• Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, GraphQL (Preferred), JWT Authentication, OAuth.

3. Database:

• MongoDB, Mongoose, Aggregation Framework, Indexing, PostgreSQL (Good to Have).

4. DevOps & Cloud:

• Docker, AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform, CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins (Good to Have).

5. Tools:

• Git, GitHub, Postman, VS Code, Jira.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Microservices Architecture.
• Hands-on experience with GraphQL.
• Experience with Redis caching.
• Knowledge of WebSockets or Socket.IO for real-time applications.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress).
• Familiarity with Kubernetes is an advantage.
• Experience working in Product-based companies.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or ChatGPT.
