Key Responsibilities
Design & Development
- Architect, design, and build APIs and integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Mule 4).
- Develop RAML specifications, API contracts, and reusable MuleSoft components.
- Implement API-led architecture, including System, Process, and Experience APIs.
- Build integrations using connectors, DataWeave transformations, batch processing, and flow orchestration.
- Provide technical guidance to junior developers and integration teams.
- Review design documents and code to ensure best practices, performance, and security.
- Participate in architecture discussions and influence integration strategy and patterns.
- Manage API deployments using Anypoint Runtime Manager, CloudHub, or hybrid environments.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for Mule projects using tools like Jenkins, Git, Maven, Azure DevOps, etc.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize integrations.
- Work with cross-functional teams (business, architects, QA, ops) to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Document technical designs, integration flows, and operational procedures.
- 8 years of integration experience, including 4 years handson in MuleSoft.
- Strong command over Mule 4, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange.
- Expertise in DataWeave 2.0, error handling frameworks, and reusable assets.
- Deep understanding of REST, SOAP, RAML, JSON, XML, and message standards.
- Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).
- Experience with API security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, client ID enforcement.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, version control (Git), and DevOps tools.
- Experience integrating with SaaS/enterprise systems (Salesforce, SAP, Workday, databases, etc.).
- MuleSoft Developer or Integration Architect certifications are highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, microservices.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka, JMS).
