NITS Solutions - Software Engineer - Javascript/React.js

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled JavaScript developer with expertise in React.js/Next.js and Node.js. The primary responsibility will be to develop and implement user interface components using a well-known UI framework. You will ensure that these components, along with the overall application, are robust, scalable, and easy to maintain.

The individual will collaborate closely with team members working across different layers of the infrastructure, so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, clean and efficient design, and delivering high-quality products is critical for success in this role.

Job Responsibilities :

• Minimum 5+ years of experience.
• Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using React.js.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Integrate front-end and back-end components for seamless functionality.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Implement best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.

Desired Skills and Experience :

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, and Node.js.
• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
• Knowledge of Redux / Redux Toolkit (RTK), RESTful APIs, JSON, and AJAX.
• Familiarity with Express.js, MySQL/PostgreSQL or other databases.
• Understanding Git /GitHub and version control workflows.
• Experience with Webpack/Vite, Babel, or similar build tools.
• Knowledge of Unit Testing and Integration Testing frameworks.

Nice-to-Have :

• Exposure to Tailwind/Material UI
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with GraphQL.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
