Node JS Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled backend developer with strong expertise in Node.js and MySQL to build scalable APIs and manage complex data operations. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize backend services for high-performance applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Create and manage robust, optimized, and secure MySQL database schemas.
• Collaborate with front-end teams, DevOps, and product managers to implement backend logic.
• Optimize application performance, query tuning, and backend reliability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade backend systems as needed.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Document technical specifications and architectural decisions.

Pre Requisites

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Node.js (Express.js, Nest.js preferred).
• Deep understanding of MySQL database design, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of JWT, OAuth, and secure backend development practices.
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of caching systems (Redis, Memcached).
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and microservices.
