Role Overview
We are looking for a Node.js Developer Intern who is interested in backend development, API creation, and scalable server-side applications. This role offers deeper exposure to backend architecture, asynchronous programming, and real-world system design.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and Express.js
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Handle server-side logic, authentication, and data processing
- Work with databases such as MongoDB or SQL for data storage and retrieval
- Optimize backend performance and ensure scalability
- Debug and resolve server-side issues efficiently
- Collaborate with frontend developers for seamless integration
- Follow best practices in coding, security, and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+)
- Basic knowledge of Node.js and backend development concepts
- Familiarity with Express.js or similar frameworks
- Understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming
- Basic knowledge of databases (MongoDB, MySQL, etc.)
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup
Preferred Skills
- Experience with backend or API-based projects
- Familiarity with authentication (JWT, OAuth)
- Basic understanding of deployment and cloud services
- Knowledge of Git and version control workflows
