Role Overview:
The Numerator - Team Lead role is a high-impact technical leadership position responsible for steering the design, development, and delivery of robust backend systems. You will lead a team of skilled engineers, bridging the gap between complex business requirements and scalable technical architecture. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality code while mentoring team members to maintain engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and implement scalable backend solutions using Python, Java, or C# to meet complex business requirements and ensure high system availability.
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of code quality, peer review, and continuous technical improvement.
- Design and optimize database schemas and queries across SQL and NoSQL environments to ensure high-performance data retrieval and storage.
- Develop and maintain secure, efficient RESTful web services to facilitate seamless communication between distributed system components.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications and actionable development roadmaps.
- Implement caching strategies using Redis to reduce latency and improve the overall responsiveness of enterprise applications.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in OOPS design and clean code architecture to ensure long-term maintainability of the codebase.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in backend development using Python (Django/Flask), Java, or C#, with a deep understanding of OOPS principles and design patterns.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize data persistence layers using both SQL and NoSQL databases in high-traffic environments.
- Strong proficiency in designing and consuming RESTful web services and integrating them into complex distributed architectures.
- Hands-on experience with Redis for performance tuning and state management in large-scale applications.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and mentor junior developers.
- A minimum of 7 to 11 years of professional software development experience, preferably in a consulting or product-based environment.
- Ability to thrive in a remote or distributed work setup, maintaining high levels of productivity and team collaboration across multiple locations.
