Oracle PL/SQL Developer - Python

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle PL/SQL Developer with strong Python expertise to join our dynamic team supporting a comprehensive hospitality application. This role involves working across multiple business-driven modules, including contract sales, member benefits, and room reservations.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in PL/SQL development, a solid understanding of relational databases, and the ability to leverage Python for automation, integration, and messaging workflows.

Essential Job Functions :

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using Oracle PL/SQL and Python.
• Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
• Build Python applications for caching and proxying complex underlying data logic.
• Implement messaging and asynchronous workflows using Python (async/await) and lightweight paradigms.
• Optimize and troubleshoot PL/SQL and Python code for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features across hospitality modules.
• Support and enhance integrations between PL/SQL backend and web-based front-end systems.
• Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience :

• Strong understanding of relational database design and performance tuning.

Proficiency in Python, including :

• Core Python (comprehensions, data structures, mutability)
• PEP8 coding standards
• Database interaction without heavy ORMs (prefer raw SQL or lightweight approaches)
• Messaging and async paradigms (async/await)
