Outsystem Developer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop secure and scalable OutSystems applications based on business and technical requirements.
• Build innovative web and mobile applications following OutSystems best practices, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Implement integrations with APIs, external systems, and databases in line with defined architecture guidelines.
• Support the full software development lifecycle including development, testing, bug fixing, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Collaborate with leads, architects, business analysts, QA, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications using OutSystems tools and recommend code or performance improvements where needed.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to estimation, planning, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, peer reviews, and adherence to version control and release processes.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in OutSystems software development or application programming.
• Hands-on experience building, enhancing, and supporting OutSystems applications in a delivery environment.
• Experience working as an individual contributor within Agile teams is preferred.

Technical Competencies.

• Good knowledge of OutSystems Service Studio, Integration Studio, Service Center, and LifeTime.
• Experience with OutSystems 11 and Reactive Web App development.
• Experience with business workflows, form builders, debugging, and standard application support activities.
• Experience integrating APIs, external systems, and relational databases including SQL.
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web technologies.
• Understanding of unit testing, code quality practices, version control, and Agile ways of working.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently on assigned deliverables.
