PHP Developer - Laravel/CodeIgniter

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer (full-time) to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, experience in backend development, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop, test, and maintain dynamic web applications using PHP.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code.
• Integrate front-end elements with server-side logic.
• Work with databases such as MySQL to design and optimize queries.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers.
• Develop APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.
• Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of PHP and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter, or Symfony.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Understanding of MVC architecture.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in PHP development.
• Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, or Magento.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
