Role Description The PHP Intern role at PPStack is a full-time remote position focused on supporting the development and maintenance of web applications and learning platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing PHP code, assisting in the integration of front-end and back-end components, and helping to optimize application performance and security.

The intern will collaborate with developers and designers to implement new features, debug issues, and ensure smooth user experiences across digital learning products. The role also involves documenting code, learning best practices in software development, and participating in regular team meetings and code reviews.

Qualifications

• Foundational PHP programming skills, with exposure to server-side scripting and basic object-oriented concepts.
• Understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and ability to work with simple front-end integrations.
• Familiarity with databases (e.g., MySQL) for basic queries, data modeling, and CRUD operations.
• Knowledge of version control tools (e.g., Git) for collaborative development and code management.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail in coding and testing.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and work effectively in a remote, team-based environment.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Interest in EdTech, AI-driven solutions, and building scalable learning platforms is highly beneficial.
