About the Role

APEXWEBSOFT is hiring a Web Developer with 1.5–3 years of hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, WordPress, Shopify, and MySQL. The ideal candidate should be capable of developing, customising, maintaining, and optimising websites while delivering clean, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Develop and customise WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements.
• Work on Shopify websites, including theme customisation and modifications.
• Write clean, secure, reusable, and well-documented PHP code.
• Work with MySQL, including database queries, management, and optimisation.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise existing websites and web applications.
• Build responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.
• Implement website performance, security, and speed optimisation.
• Work with WordPress hooks, filters, Custom Post Types (CPTs), ACF, and WooCommerce.
• Analyse project requirements and convert them into effective technical solutions.
• Debug and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and developers to ensure timely project delivery.

Required Skills & Expertise

• *1.5–3 years of professional experience in web development.
• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and Laravel.
• Strong experience in WordPress development, including custom themes and plugins.
• Practical experience with Shopify development and theme customisation.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Experience with WordPress hooks, filters, CPTs, ACF, and WooCommerce.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Familiarity with Git / Bitbucket.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with attention to detail.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
