Job Description :
We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer to provide technical leadership across backend services, cloud platform integration, Kubernetes-based deployment, and release engineering. This role requires a strong architecture mindset, deep backend development experience, and the ability to guide design, quality, operability, and long-term technical direction across the platform.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead architecture and technical direction for backend services and platform workflows
- Define engineering standards across application design, deployment, testing, and release processes
- Drive design decisions in backend, Kubernetes, CI/CD, cloud, and runtime areas
- Review high-impact changes related to reliability, upgrades, security, and production readiness
- Mentor engineers and improve development, debugging, and delivery practices across the team
- Support root cause analysis and operational troubleshooting across application and infrastructure layers
Required Skills :
- Strong backend architecture and development experience in Python and/or Java and/or C# and Linux OS
- Strong experience designing APIs and service-oriented systems
- Good understanding of AWS, Kubernetes, containers, and CI/CD workflows
- Strong Linux and runtime troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience with release engineering, deployment pipelines, and operational quality practices
- Ability to work across development, platform, reliability, and support concerns
Preferred Skills :
- React/TypeScript exposure for UI/API alignment
- Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD, GitOps
- Observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki
- Artifact publishing, supply chain, and enterprise release controls
- Appliance/image or offline package delivery experience
