Program Manager - Java Application Development

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Program Manager with strong experience in managing large-scale Fixed-Price (FP) technology projects, particularly Java development projects. The ideal candidate should have demonstrated experience managing 50-60 resources across multiple teams and should be comfortable owning program delivery, customer engagement, financials, risks, timelines, and overall delivery governance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and manage large-scale Fixed-Price Java development programs/projects from initiation through delivery.
• Manage and provide leadership to 50-60 resources, including multiple development, QA, technical, and support teams.
• Own overall program delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, resources, and customer commitments.
• Manage program financials, including project budgets, margins, utilization, and resource planning.
• Drive delivery governance, project reviews, status reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Work closely with customers and senior stakeholders to understand requirements, manage expectations, and ensure successful delivery.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Ensure effective resource allocation and capacity planning across projects.
• Work closely with Engineering/Technology teams to ensure adherence to architecture, development, and quality standards.
• Drive delivery metrics, productivity improvements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of critical delivery issues.
• Ensure compliance with organizational processes, governance, and delivery standards.
• Support account growth and identify opportunities for additional business within existing engagements, where applicable.

Mandatory Experience &

Skills :

• Proven experience as a Program Manager / Senior Program Manager managing large technology programs.
• Strong experience in Fixed-Price project/program management.
• Experience managing a minimum team size of 50-60 resources.
• Strong experience managing Java development projects/programs.
• Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle, Agile/Scrum, and project governance.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with project financial management, resource planning, risk management, and delivery governance.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
