Role Overview :
As a Python Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining the core services that drive our platform's functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into high-performance microservices.

Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python to ensure high availability and performance for our core platforms.
- Architect and implement microservices to decouple complex system components, improving maintainability and deployment speed.
- Design and optimize database schemas in PostgreSQL to support high-concurrency data operations and complex analytical queries.
- Build and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes to ensure seamless deployment and orchestration across cloud environments.
- Integrate CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment workflows, reducing manual intervention and increasing release frequency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify performance bottlenecks and implement efficient solutions that enhance the overall user experience.
Required Skillset :
- Proficiency in building production-grade applications using Python frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
- Demonstrated ability to design and manage microservices architectures that are both modular and highly resilient.
- Strong command over PostgreSQL, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and database design principles.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and the ability to manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes.
- Proven track record of implementing CI/CD practices to streamline development lifecycles and improve code quality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both engineering and non-technical team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment based in Mumbai.
- Candidates should possess 1 - 3 years of relevant professional experience in backend development.
