Python Backend Engineer - Data Infrastructure

Experience :

6 years of experience building and operating production backend services, distributed systems, or large-scale data platforms.

Tech Stack :

• Python : FastAPI, uv, async I/O, typing
• Database & Caching : PostgreSQL (query optimization, ACID, indexing), Redis (caching, pub/sub)
• Infrastructure : Kubernetes (k8s), Docker, Helm, AWS, Terraform/CDKTF
• Orchestration : Dagster, Celery, or Apache Airflow
• Observability : OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog

Key Responsibilities :

• Architect, build, and deploy low-latency, scalable APIs and microservices using modern Python.
• Design robust state-management patterns to handle high-concurrency race conditions.
• Develop and maintain scalable job orchestration workflows for streaming and batch processing.
• Own, automate, and maintain cloud environments on AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Ensure production uptime, high availability, and performance SLA/SLO benchmarks.
