About the Role:

Looking for an experienced Python Data Engineer with strong expertise in Python, SQL, and ETL pipeline development. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and database management, along with familiarity with AI tools such as Claude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Extract data from APIs, databases, files, and other data sources.
• Perform data transformation, cleansing, and processing using Python libraries.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Work with SQL Server and/or Snowflake for data storage, processing, and management.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to improve productivity and support development activities.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, reliability, and performance across ETL workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

Required Skills:

• 4 - 6 years of hands-on experience in Python Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience in developing and maintaining ETL pipelines.
• Hands-on experience in data extraction from APIs, databases, files, and other sources.
• Strong understanding of data transformation and cleansing using Python libraries.
• Experience with SQL Server and/or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Claude.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience with Alteryx for ETL and data preparation.
• Familiarity with Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
