About the Role :
- Utilize advanced Python programming skills to design and implement robust data testing frameworks and develop and maintain automated test scripts to validate data accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams to understand data flows and testing requirements.
- Ensure comprehensive coverage of data validation across various data sources and pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify data quality issues, and drive remediation efforts.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data testing and Python development.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and execute automated data tests using Python to ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies and test cases aligned with business needs.
- Validate data transformations, aggregations, and pipeline outputs to detect anomalies and inconsistencies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related defects and issues in collaboration with data engineers.
- Mentor junior team members on Python programming and data testing best practices.
- Document testing processes, results, and findings to support knowledge sharing and audit requirements.
- Contribute to strategic planning and alignment of data testing initiatives with organizational goals.
