Own and maintain backend systems using Python, Django, and FastAPI.

Build and manage APIs using Django REST Framework and FastAPI.

Work with frontend and product teams on integration and delivery.

Design and optimize databases, queries, and schemas in PostgreSQL and MySQL.

Build data pipelines, ETL workflows, and batch/streaming processes.

Manage containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes.

Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, AWS infrastructure, and system reliability.

Participate in architectural decisions as the platform scales. What We're Looking For

Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.

5+ years of backend development experience in Python and Django.

Strong experience with Django REST Framework. FastAPI experience preferred.

Deep SQL knowledge — query optimization, indexing, schema design, performance tuning.

Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and tools like Airflow or Celery.

Hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes in production.

Working knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Redshift).

Familiarity with Redis, Elasticsearch, or similar tools is a plus.

Comfortable with Git workflows, CI/CD, and infrastructure practices.

Strong fundamentals in software engineering and system design.

Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams.

Self-directed with high attention to detail and quality.
