Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer with a strong background in cloud data engineering to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in building scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines, working with AWS-based data platforms, and developing robust data integration solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on enterprise-scale data transformation initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to support enterprise data integration and analytics.
- Build and optimize batch and scheduled data processing workflows using cloud-native technologies.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable Python and SQL code for data ingestion, transformation, and validation.
- Work extensively with AWS services, including Athena, along with Snowflake to deliver modern cloud data solutions.
- Integrate data from CRM platforms such as Salesforce, ensuring reliable inbound and outbound data flows.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements and deliver efficient solutions.
- Support Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives and contribute to data quality and governance practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize pipeline performance, and ensure reliable data delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills:
- 6 to 8 years of experience in Python development and Data Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Proficiency in Python and advanced SQL programming.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Athena.
- Hands-on experience working with Snowflake as a cloud data warehouse.
- Understanding of batch processing, scheduled workflows, and data integration best practices.
- Familiarity with Salesforce data models and CRM integration patterns.
- Exposure to Master Data Management (MDM) concepts;
experience with Profisee or similar MDM platforms is an added advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with cloud-native data architecture and modern data lake/lakehouse solutions.
- Knowledge of data quality, governance, and metadata management practices.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for data engineering.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
