Role Overview :
As a Python Developer at Sysmind, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining robust backend services that power our core product offerings. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and frontend engineers, to translate business requirements into efficient, high-performing code. Your work will directly influence the scalability and reliability of our platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for our end users while maintaining high standards of code quality and system architecture.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain scalable backend services using Python to ensure high availability for enterprise applications.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs that facilitate seamless communication between internal systems and external client platforms.
- Optimize database queries and schema designs in PostgreSQL to improve application performance and data retrieval speeds.
- Execute comprehensive unit and integration testing to ensure code stability and minimize production issues.
- Manage version control workflows using Git to maintain codebase integrity and facilitate collaborative development across distributed teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical bottlenecks to maintain optimal system performance and user satisfaction.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in building production-grade applications using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) principles and their application in designing modular, maintainable software.
- Proven ability to implement advanced exception handling and logging strategies to ensure system resilience.
- Proficiency in managing relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, with a focus on performance tuning and efficient data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a professional environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, demonstrating self-discipline and proactive collaboration with global team members.
- Minimum of 4 to 7 years of professional experience in backend development within a fast-paced, agile environment.
