About the Opportunity :

talentumHR is hiring on behalf of a leading organization in the Capital Markets and Financial Services industry. We are looking for a Python Developer with strong backend development expertise to build and support enterprise applications focused on workflow automation, document processing, reconciliation, validation, and API-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based enterprise applications.
• Develop secure REST APIs, microservices, and workflow-driven solutions.
• Build applications for document scrutiny, reconciliation, validation, comparison, and reporting.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms including LDAP, SSO, OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC.
• Integrate applications with databases, Active Directory, internal systems, and third-party platforms.
• Develop modules for document ingestion, processing, validation, and analytics.
• Optimize application performance using asynchronous programming and multiprocessing techniques.
• Collaborate with business, QA, and infrastructure teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks.
• Support production deployments and troubleshoot application issues.

Required Skills :

• Strong programming experience in Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Experience in developing REST APIs and Microservices.
• Knowledge of Pandas, NumPy, OpenPyXL, and related data-processing libraries.
• Experience in OCR, PDF processing, document validation, and automation solutions.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix environments and Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with CSV, Excel, PDF, JSON, and XML file formats.
• Knowledge of AD, LDAP, SSO, OAuth2, JWT, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Experience in logging, monitoring, debugging, and performance optimization.

Preferred Skills :

• Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to OCR, Document Intelligence, AI/ML-based document processing, fuzzy matching, or reconciliation engines.

Desired Candidate Profile :

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working in enterprise application development environments.
