Job Description

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional software development with a focus on full-stack development of web applications.
• Solid full-stack development in the following: JavaScript/Typescript, Angular/React/Vue, Python, PostgreSQL, Flask/Django, AWS, and Docker.
• Knowledge of CSS and layout best practices, box model, positioning, and debugging layout issues.
• Experience with UI frameworks.
• Responsive UI design experience.
• Solid cross-browser compatibility and working around browser-specific issues.
• Ability to debug both client and server-side code.
• Knowledge of OO fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with development under MacOS, including CLI utilities.
• CI/CD platforms like Jenkins or Travis.
• Familiarity with revision control (Git) and pull-request branch/merge model.
• Familiarity with deploying to cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Ability to absorb, understand, and communicate written and verbal information and ideas and to deliver them in a concise manner that is easily understood by others.
• Ability to apply critical thinking to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Ability to step up and lead the charge to keep up with changes in requirements from time to time.
• Handhold junior members of the team to help them execute their responsibilities.
