Role Description The Python Developer Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of back-end services and applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing and testing Python code, implementing object-oriented programming principles, and assisting in building APIs and web services for internal and client-facing projects.

The intern will work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage data, debug and optimize existing code, and collaborate with senior developers to implement new features. Additional tasks may involve participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and learning best practices in software development within an agile environment.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Programming skills, with proficiency in Python and basic knowledge of software development workflows.
• Candidates should possess Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills, including familiarity with classes, inheritance, and design principles.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills, such as working with APIs, web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask), and server-side logic.
• Candidates should possess Databases skills, including understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, schema design, and basic querying.
• Candidates should possess Software Development skills, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and testing practices.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow coding standards, and collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional team.
• Good communication skills and a structured approach to problem-solving; prior project or internship experience is an advantage.
