Python Developer Intern

Roles

• Work on practical Python programming tasks and contribute to small development projects.
• Support the development of scripts, applications, and automation solutions under the guidance of a mentor.

Responsibilities

• Write, test, debug, and maintain clean, readable Python code.
• Use Python fundamentals, functions, data structures, and object-oriented programming to solve assigned problems.
• Assist with developing features, automating repetitive tasks, and processing data.
• Identify and fix basic errors, and help improve code quality and performance.
• Complete hands-on assignments and mini-projects based on real-world use cases.
• Document code and share regular progress updates with the mentor or team.
• Participate in discussions, feedback sessions, and code reviews as applicable.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of Python, including variables, data types, loops, conditionals, and functions.
• Familiarity with lists, dictionaries, sets, and other common data structures.
• Basic understanding of debugging and problem-solving.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming, file handling, or exception handling is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub, SQL, or working with APIs is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Good logical thinking, willingness to learn, and ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Clear communication and a responsible approach to completing work.

Eligibility

• Students, recent graduates, and beginners interested in Python development are welcome to apply.
• Applicants from Computer Science, IT, or related backgrounds are encouraged, but motivated learners with relevant basic skills may also apply.
• Prior internship or professional experience is not required.
• A personal project or GitHub portfolio is helpful, but not mandatory.
