Python Developer (Python + PySpark + SQL)

Altimetrik is hiring a Python Developer to build and optimise large-scale data processing solutions using Python, PySpark and SQL.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop and maintain data pipelines and applications using Python and PySpark
• Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation and validation
• Tune Spark jobs for performance and scalability on large datasets
• Work with data engineers, architects and business teams to turn requirements into technical solutions
• Debug and resolve production issues, and perform root cause analysis
• Take part in code reviews, testing and deployments

What we’re looking for

• 7-10 years of strong hands-on experience in Python development
• Strong experience with PySpark and distributed data processing
• Advanced SQL skills, including query optimisation
• Good understanding of data warehousing, ETL and data pipeline concepts
• Experience with Git and CI/CD, and working in Agile teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Pay: Up to ₹3,000,000.00 per year
