Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with experience in building scalable applications, data processing frameworks, and automation solutions within a Capital Markets environment. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, SQL, data modeling, CI/CD implementation, and batch process automation. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, QA teams, and operations teams to design, develop, and maintain robust enterprise-grade solutions

.Roles & Responsibilitie

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications, frameworks, and services
• .Build reusable components, libraries, and templates to improve development efficiency and maintainability
• .Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects across SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL environments
• .Translate business and post-trade processing requirements into efficient technical solutions and data models
• .Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for application, database, and data artifact deployments
• .Automate batch processes, job scheduling, and operational workflows using Python and shell scripting
• .Integrate applications with schedulers such as AutoSys, Control-M, or Airflow
• .Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and business users to define requirements and acceptance criteria
• .Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices
• .Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment guides, and operational runbooks
• .Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues effectively
• .Support release management, environment promotion, and deployment automation activities

Requirement

Mandatory Skill

• 4–7 years of hands-on experience in Python development
• .Strong experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, SQLAlchemy, pyodbc, asyncio, and Celery
• .Expertise in SQL development, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning
• .Experience working with SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL databases
• .Strong understanding of Git version control and code review practices
• .Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI/CD
• .Experience with job scheduling and batch orchestration tools such as AutoSys, Control-M, or Airflow
• .Strong scripting skills using Python and Shell scripting
• .Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing
• .Understanding of post-trade processing and Capital Markets data flows
• .Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
