ABOUT THE ROLE :
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically strong Python Developer to build scalable AI-driven applications and analytics solutions for global financial institutions and enterprises.
The role involves developing intelligent research platforms, data pipelines, AI/ML models, automation tools, and client-facing analytical products across capital markets, banking, and enterprise analytics domains.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Python-based application development, AI/ML frameworks, cloud technologies, APIs, databases, and modern data engineering practices, with the ability to translate business problems into production-ready AI solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Application Development & Delivery :
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications, platforms, and analytical solutions for clients and internal products.
- Build intelligent research and analytics tools using Python, AI/ML, NLP, Generative AI, and data engineering frameworks.
- Develop REST APIs, backend services, automation workflows, and data processing pipelines.
- Build data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines for structured and unstructured datasets.
- Integrate LLMs, vector databases, RAG architectures, AI agents, and enterprise AI workflows into business applications.
- Develop dashboards, reporting layers, and visualization interfaces for analytical insights.
- Collaborate with research, analytics, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver production-grade solutions.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, security, maintainability, and performance optimization.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and deployment planning.
- Support cloud deployment, CI/CD implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
2. AI / Analytics Responsibilities :
- Deliver analytics engagements involving :
- Descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
- Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA).
- Predictive modeling and machine learning.
- Time Series Forecasting.
- Classification and Regression Models.
- Clustering and Segmentation.
- Optimization and Simulation Models.
- Risk-based modeling and scoring frameworks.
- NLP and Generative AI use cases.
- Build and fine-tune AI/ML models using supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
- Work on LLM-based applications including prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and AI copilots.
- Translate analytical outputs into actionable business insights.
3. Technical Skills Requirements :
- Mandatory Skills :
- Strong programming expertise in Python.
- Experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Strong SQL and database management skills.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow / PyTorch, XGBoost / LightGBM, and Hugging Face Transformers.
- Experience with Generative AI and LLM ecosystems.
- Knowledge of RAG architectures, vector databases, embeddings, and AI agents.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, and backend architecture.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and deployment workflows.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Plotly, or Streamlit.
- Preferred Skills :
- Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, or distributed computing frameworks.
- Knowledge of LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, or similar AI orchestration frameworks.
- Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, or FAISS.
- Frontend exposure in Angular, React, or modern UI frameworks.
- Exposure to financial data platforms, APIs, and enterprise analytics environments.
- Experience working with cloud-native AI services and MLOps frameworks.
4. Team & Client Management :
- Interact with clients and stakeholders across business and technology functions.
- Support hiring, mentoring, training, and capability development initiatives.
- Work effectively in cross-functional teams under tight timelines.
- Ensure high-quality delivery and strong client satisfaction.
5. Educational Qualifications :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, Engineering, Econometrics, Operations Research, or another quantitative/technical discipline.
- Candidates with certifications in AI/ML, Cloud, Data Engineering, or Financial Analytics will be preferred.
6. Experience Requirements :
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Python development, AI/ML, analytics, or data engineering.
- Proven experience in developing and deploying AI/analytics applications in production environments.
- Experience in BFSI, capital markets, fintech, research, or financial analytics domains preferred.
- Exposure to enterprise AI applications, automation tools, or intelligent research platforms would be a strong advantage.
- Experience working directly with international clients or cross-functional global teams preferred.
7. Domain Expertise (Preferred) :
- Strong understanding of one or more of the following : Banking and Financial Services (BFSI), Lending and Risk Analytics, Equity and Credit Research, Asset Management and Wealth Management, Investment Research and Capital Markets, Fintech and Financial Data Analytics.
- Exposure to additional sectors such as healthcare, retail, automotive, CPG, or technology services would be an added advantage.
