Hiring : Senior Software Development Engineer - Python Full Stack (Vue.js) | Mumbai

We are hiring for our client's Investment Engineering team, which builds the technology platforms behind order management, compliance, portfolio analytics and data infrastructure.

Location : Mumbai (Hybrid, 3 days a week in office)

Experience : 8 - 14 years

Employment Type : Full-time

Salary : 55 LPA

Tech Focus : Python Full Stack | Vue.js

What you will do :

• Design, build and deliver full-stack applications using Python with Vue.js (or React/Angular)
• Build scalable backend services and APIs in Python
• Own features end to end, from requirements and architecture to deployment and production support
• Build integrations across APIs, databases, data pipelines and enterprise systems
• Handle performance investigations, incident resolution and root cause analysis
• Work with business stakeholders to turn requirements into robust solutions
• Take part in code reviews, design and architecture discussions, testing and documentation

What we are looking for :

• 8 - 14 years of software engineering experience, preferably in financial services, investment management or capital markets
• Strong hands-on Python and backend development (APIs, microservices, data integrations)
• Hands-on front-end experience with Vue.js, React or Angular
• Solid fundamentals : API design, databases, authentication, architecture, testing, deployment
• Ability to work independently and own deliverables
• Strong communication with technical and business teams
• Experience in Agile environments

Good to have :

• Generative AI exposure (LLMs, RAG, AI agents, LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI)
• Vector databases and AI integration patterns
• Azure, Snowflake, Java/JVM familiarity
• Exposure to financial markets or trading
• Experience in large-scale, multi-vendor enterprise environments
