Python Fullstack Developer

Job Description

 

As part of our full-stack product engineering team, you will build multi-tenant cloud-based software products/platforms and internal assets that will leverage cutting edge based on the Amazon AWS cloud platform.

Required skills: Full Stack Developer

1. Angular 5/6
2. Python 2/3 on Flask
3. Postgres DB and RDBMS
4. Good hands on to work with AWS services (EC2, EMR, S3, Serverless stack, RDS, Sagemaker, IAM etc)

Nice to Have skills:

1. .Big data knowledge (Pyspark, hive, hadoop, SQL Workbench etc)

You will: 

1. Pair program, write unit tests, lead code reviews, and collaborate with QA analysts to ensure you develop the highest quality multi-tenant software that can be productized 
2. Work with junior developers to implement large features that are on the cutting edge of Big Data 
3. Be a technical leader to your team, and help them improve their technical skills 
4. Stand up for engineering practices that ensure quality products: automated testing, unit testing, agile development, continuous integration, code reviews, and technical design 
5. Work with product managers and architects to design product architecture and to work on POCs 
6. Take immediate responsibility for project deliverables 
7. Understand client business issues and design features that meet client needs 
8. Undergo on-the-job and formal trainings and certifications, and will constantly advance your knowledge and problem solving skills 

ZS welcomes candidates with degrees in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics or a related discipline. A demonstrated record of academic success and significant programming experience are required. We accept candidates with experience in any programming language as long as they have excellent programming skills. Additionally, we seek individuals with the following qualifications:

1. 3+ years of experience in developing software, ideally building SaaS products and services 
2. Bachelor's Degree in CS, EE, or related discipline 
3. Strong analytic, problem solving, and programming ability 
4. Experience in coding in an object-oriented language such as Python, Java, Ruby, C# etc. 
5. Hands on experience on Apache Spark, EMR, Hadoop, HDFS, or other big data technologies 
6. Experience with development on the AWS (Amazon Web Services) platform is preferable 
7. Experience in Linux shell or PowerShell scripting is preferable 
8. Experience in HTML5, JavaScript, and JavaScript libraries is preferable 
9. Initiative and drive to contribute 
10. Excellent organizational and task management skills 
11. Strong communication skills 
12. Ability to work in global cross-office teams
