Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Python Selenium Automation Engineer with 5 to 9 years of experience in test automation and quality engineering. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Python programming, Selenium WebDriver, automation framework development, and CI/CD integration. The role involves designing robust test automation solutions, improving testing efficiency, and ensuring high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Python and Selenium.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Develop data-driven, keyword-driven, and hybrid automation frameworks.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with developers for issue resolution.
• Ensure automation coverage across multiple browsers and platforms.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Generate automation reports and testing metrics for stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Python Programming.
• Hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver.
• Experience in automation framework development (PyTest, Robot Framework, Unittest, Behave).
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and software testing methodologies.
• Experience with API testing using Requests, Postman, or REST Assured.
• Knowledge of SQL and database validation techniques.
• Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience in defect tracking tools like JIRA or Azure Boards.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Playwright or Cypress automation.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Docker and containerized test execution.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave.
• Experience with test execution on Selenium Grid or BrowserStack.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
