Python Software Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Software Engineer with strong Python backend development experience to build and maintain production-grade applications and APIs powering AI-driven financial close automation.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in independently writing, debugging, testing, and deploying code in production environments, rather than working primarily in application support or maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable backend services, REST APIs, and microservices using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, SQL queries, and database migrations.
• Implement asynchronous processing using Redis, Celery, RabbitMQ, or equivalent technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable code, unit tests, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Lead low-level design and make sound technical decisions.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes/AKS, Git, and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to Angular and TypeScript frontend fixes and features as required.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build reliable AI-powered applications.

Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong Python and FastAPI (or equivalent async REST framework).
• Production experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong PostgreSQL and SQL skills.
• Redis and Celery or equivalent asynchronous processing technologies.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, testing, and low-level design skills.
• Working knowledge of Angular and TypeScript.

Preferred Skills: LLM integration, AI agents, LangChain/LangGraph, Azure AKS, OAuth 2.0. Important: Candidates must have hands-on development experience, independently write and understand code, and be comfortable solving technical problems without depending entirely on AI-generated code.
