Job Description

Role : QA Engineer with Appium

Location : Chandigarh, Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai, Panchkula, Mumbai, Gurugram

Experience : 4 years

Notice Period : Immediate to 15 days

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Create and execute automated test scripts using Appium for mobile apps.
• Collaborate with developers to design test strategies based on app requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, and performance testing on mobile applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools.
• Conduct thorough test planning to ensure high-quality releases.
• Maintain and update automation test suites for better coverage.

Skills & Attributes :

• Appium Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with Appium for automating mobile testing on Android and iOS platforms.
• Scripting Languages : Proficiency in scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
• Mobile Testing : Solid understanding of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Test Management : Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
• CI/CD Integration : Knowledge of integrating automation scripts with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
• API Testing : Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Debugging Skills : Strong debugging skills to analyze test failures and provide root cause analysis.
• Agile Environment : Familiarity with Agile methodologies and participation in Agile processes like sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
