SAP Full Stack Developer (RAP, BTP,BPA)

Location : Pune/Hyderabad/Bengaluru

Experience : 7 to 8 years :

Must Have Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SAP development with strong expertise in S/4HANA environments.
• Hands-on experience with ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Strong experience in S/4HANA development (Greenfield and Brownfield implementations).
• Deep expertise in Core Data Services (CDS) Views, including :

a. Data modeling b. Annotations c. Analytical CDS Views d. Transactional CDS ViewExperience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), including ABAP Environment (Steampunk)

e. Side-by-side extensibility

• Strong proficiency in Core ABAP / ABAP OO development.
• Experience in developing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Experience in creating and consuming OData Services.
• Knowledge of Clean Core principles, SAP extensibility concepts, and SAP integration technologies.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and design scalable technical solutions.
• Experience in technical design documentation, code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Good to Have Skills :

• Experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) using Node.js or Java.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Build Process Automation (BPA).
• Experience with SAP Joule Studio.
• Experience in Low-Code/No-Code UI development.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, Bruno, or similar tools.
• Experience working with SAP BTP application development and cloud-native extensions.
• Exposure to enterprise architecture design and solution blueprinting.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end SAP solutions across S/4HANA landscapes.
• Build and enhance applications using RAP and CDS Views.
• Develop and deploy applications on SAP BTP, including ABAP Environment (Steampunk).
• Implement process automation solutions using SAP Build Process Automation.
• Analyze current ("As-Is") processes and design optimized ("To-Be") solutions.
• Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications integrated with backend OData services.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders.
• Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and architecture artifacts.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, Clean Core principles, and extensibility guidelines.
• Perform code reviews, optimize performance, and resolve technical issues.
