We're hiring a
Senior Angular Developer (contract)
to build clean, scalable, production-grade frontends for AI-powered and analytics products. You'll work directly with the founder, client teams, and backend engineers to turn product requirements into responsive, maintainable Angular applications.
This is a remote role for an experienced, independent frontend engineer who can own UI implementation, make sound technical decisions, and help raise the quality bar for younger engineers.

What You'll Do
TL;DR:
Own frontend development for client-facing products — build high-quality Angular applications, work closely with backend/client teams, and help mentor younger engineers.
- Build and ship clean, responsive, production-grade Angular applications
- Translate Figma designs, product requirements, and ambiguous briefs into working frontend features
- Work closely with backend engineers to integrate APIs, handle state, and deliver complete user workflows
- Write maintainable, reusable, and testable Angular code
- Make sound frontend architecture decisions around components, routing, services, state management, and performance
- Debug frontend issues across browsers, devices, and environments
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Mentor and unblock younger engineers; raise the frontend engineering quality bar
Qualifications
TL;DR:
Strong Angular experience is non-negotiable. You should be able to independently build real applications, work with APIs, communicate clearly, and guide junior engineers.
You Are:
- 4+ years into your Angular/frontend engineering career as a professional
- An independent operator who can turn requirements into shipped frontend features without hand-holding
- Someone who thinks in user workflows, maintainability, and trade-offs — not just UI screens
- Comfortable working in a remote, client-facing services environment
- Able to mentor younger engineers by example
Must-haves:
- Angular with at least 4 years of professional experience
- Strong TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and responsive UI development
- Experience building real, maintainable frontend applications
- API integration experience with REST APIs
- Good understanding of Angular components, services, routing, forms, and modules
- Ability to translate product requirements into clean frontend implementation
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work 40 hours per week as a contractor
Nice-to-haves:
- Experience with Angular Material, Tailwind, Bootstrap, or similar UI libraries
- Experience with state management patterns or libraries
- Experience working with backend teams using Python, Node.js, or similar stacks
- Experience with cloud deployments, CI/CD, or frontend build pipelines
- Experience working with US or international clients as a contractor
- Experience mentoring junior frontend engineers
