Senior Java Backend Developer - Spring Boot

Role: Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 712 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and Apache Kafka, along with experience building microservices and distributed systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, performant, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices-based applications.
• Develop scalable and high-performance solutions using Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement timely resolutions.
• Write unit, integration, and automation tests to ensure application quality.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing within the team.

Required Skills:

• 712 years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above).
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, and event-driven systems.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience developing REST APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of Maven or Gradle build tools.
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
