Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java and Google Web Toolkit (GWT) to support the development and enhancement of an existing Attendant Console (ADC) application. The role will primarily focus on frontend/UI development, operator workflow implementation, and integration with telephony systems through REST APIs.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in building enterprise-grade web applications, developing responsive user interfaces, and working with real-time data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance and maintain the existing ADC (Attendant Console) application.
• Design and develop frontend components using Java and GWT (Google Web Toolkit).
• Implement operator workflow functionalities and improve user experience.
• Integrate frontend modules with CSTA REST APIs over HTTPS.
• Develop and maintain real-time queue management and presence monitoring features.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment activities.
• Prepare technical documentation and support future enhancements.

Phase 1 Features:

The selected candidate will be involved in implementing and enhancing the following features:

• Incoming Calls Queue UI
• Hold/Park Queue Management
• Call Control Actions (Answer, Hold, Transfer, Disconnect, etc.)
• Real-Time Queue Updates
• Presence and BLF (Busy Lamp Field) Indicators
• Programmable Virtual Keys
• Hotkeys and Operator Workflow Functions
• Touch-Friendly User Interface
• Embedded URL/IFrame Panel Integration

Required Technical Skills

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong experience in Java development.
• Hands-on experience with GWT (Google Web Toolkit).
• Experience in frontend/UI development and enhancement.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and HTTPS integrations.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and application troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with source code management tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in telephony, contact center, or attendant console applications.
• Knowledge of CSTA APIs and communication systems.
• Experience with real-time event-driven applications.
• Understanding of WebSockets or similar real-time communication technologies.
• Exposure to CRM integrations and enterprise application development.
