Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in building scalable, cloud-native applications using Java and microservices architecture.

The ideal candidate should have experience designing high-performance backend systems, developing REST APIs, and working with modern cloud and messaging technologies in a product-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures following API-first design principles.
• Design and develop secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to platform architecture, technology strategy, and engineering best practices.
• Perform code reviews, refactoring, and optimization to improve code quality and application performance.
• Implement messaging-based solutions using Kafka and RabbitMQ.
• Develop cloud-native applications and deploy services on AWS.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring performance optimization and scalability.
• Build and deploy containerized applications using Docker.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments and maintain technical documentation.
• Drive automation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills :

• 5 - 8 years of experience in Java backend development, preferably in product or internet-based companies.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST API development.
• Experience designing scalable, distributed systems and enterprise application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized deployments.
• Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience modernizing monolithic applications into microservices.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Exposure to distributed caching technologies such as Redis.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools in cloud environments.
