Role : Senior Java Developer (JSF / PrimeFaces)
Position Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Java Developer with a unique blend of modern backend expertise and solid experience in enterprise Java web frameworks. In this role, you will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust applications within a compact, agile team.
The ideal candidate brings strong backend development skills using Spring Boot, coupled with proven, production-grade experience in JSF and PrimeFaces, and a readiness to actively work across this entire tech stack. Beyond pure coding, you will actively support critical business activities and collaborate closely with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-on Development : Design, code, test, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure application features using Java, Spring Boot, JSF, and PrimeFaces.
- Full-Stack Support : Maintain and modernize enterprise web interfaces using JSF/PrimeFaces while ensuring seamless integration with Spring-based backend services.
- Database & Server Management : Write and optimize complex SQL queries, manage data persistence via Hibernate, and oversee application deployment on Tomcat servers.
- Team Collaboration : Work effectively within a close-knit, small team environment, actively participating in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural alignment.
- Business Operations Alignment : Go beyond standard development tasks to directly support business operational activities, troubleshooting production issues, and addressing stakeholder needs.
Required Core Technical Skills :
- Overall Experience : 8 years of professional software development experience in Senior Java roles.
- Frontend/UI Frameworks : Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in JSF (JavaServer Faces) and PrimeFaces. Complete willingness to actively develop and maintain applications using this stack is mandatory.
- Backend Ecosystem : Strong, deep expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
- ORM & Database : Proven proficiency in Hibernate, Java/J2EE design patterns, and writing optimized SQL.
- Application Servers : Solid experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting applications on Apache Tomcat.
