Senior SQL/PLSQL & Java Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Developer with strong expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and Java, complemented by hands-on experience in Splunk, New Relic, and data analytics. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade applications and data solutions, while also contributing to observability and performance monitoring initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop robust backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Write and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Implement and maintain monitoring dashboards using Splunk and New Relic for application performance and infrastructure health.
• Analyze telemetry data to identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to data analytics initiatives, including data modeling, ETL pipelines, and reporting.

• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD).
• Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software engineering and database development.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6+ years of experience in Java development (Spring Boot, REST APIs).
• 5+ years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL development (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Strong understanding of Splunk and New Relic for observability and performance monitoring.
• Experience with data analytics, including data modeling, ETL, and visualization tools.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux, Git, Jenkins, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

  Preferred

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Exposure to Al-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.

• Certifications in Oracle, Java, or observability tools (Splunk, New Relic) are a plus.
