Role Overview :

As a Senior PLSQL Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust and efficient database solutions using Oracle PL/SQL. You will collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing database performance, ensuring data integrity, and providing technical guidance to junior developers.

This role directly impacts the efficiency and reliability of our clients' critical business applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and develop complex PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support business requirements for various projects.
• Analyze existing SQL queries and PL/SQL code to identify performance bottlenecks and implement effective tuning strategies, improving application response times for end-users.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automating database tasks, such as data loading, backups, and monitoring, ensuring smooth and efficient database operations.
• Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality database solutions, meeting project deadlines and client expectations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior PL/SQL developers, fostering their growth and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure the quality and reliability of database solutions, minimizing defects and ensuring data integrity.
• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations, safeguarding client information.

Required Skillset :

• Demonstrated ability to design and develop complex PL/SQL solutions, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.
• Proven expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Strong capability in performance tuning of Oracle databases, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to improve application responsiveness.
• Experience in developing and maintaining shell scripts for automating database tasks, streamlining operations and reducing manual effort.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle database architecture and administration, enabling effective database management and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment in Mumbai.
